Pump Creative was born out of a simple belief: design is more than decoration—it’s a pathway to purpose. After a decade in copywriting, graphic creation, and photography, Lisa Myklak founded Pump Creative to help small businesses and nonprofits discover the heart of their brand, then bring it to life across every touchpoint.
Where the Name Comes From
The name “Pump Creative” was inspired by a moment on a mountain bike trail in the Colorado aspens.
While racing downhill behind a teammate, Lisa watched him pull away with ease—without pedaling. It didn’t make sense until she discovered the magic of pumping the terrain: using her body like a spring to generate momentum by moving with the land, not against it.
That moment stuck. It became more than a riding technique—it became a philosophy.
Just as a rider gains speed by syncing with the trail, a brand builds momentum when every element—visuals, voice, and message—works in harmony. Pump Creative was founded on that same idea: move with intention, harness what’s already there, and create powerful forward motion.
